* 77% want direct election of the Supreme Leader
* Over 70% favor opening Iran to international weapons inspections and  
a guarantee not to develop nuclear weapons in return for outside aid/ 
investment
* 77% want normal relations and trade with the U.S.
* 70% favor Western aid & investment, and 80% favor Western medical,  
eduational, and humanitarian assistance
