Don't count on it very soon. It takes quite a few losing and pointless riots over a period of time (and probably at least _some_ economic recovery) before something better emerges from them. And while the CPUSA wasn't all that much in 1932, it was a hell of a lot more than anything that exists now to be a focuse of swelling protest.
