Yup. 1917, a revolution that took place 12 years after another revolution, after a giant war that destroyed all faith in the government and a decade of civil unrest, after a century or so in which the Tsarist government and secret police (after the Decembrists) were obsessed with revolutionary movements, was foreseen by no one.
