MR Press sent me a copy of John Bellamy Foster and Fred Magdoff's _The Great Financial Crisis_ to review.

So far, it's a great read. They are engaging writers and, so far, this seems like a _great_ book for somone to use if they're teaching about this topic.

(HINT: post about it at your blog or web site, to help them out!)

I'm going to write a more extended review -- more like close reading. Sorry Carrol, I started back with Postone this afternoon, but MR could also use my blathering! (disclosure: not that I think it matters that much, but this household is supported, in part, by working for MR on a part-time basis. Just to get that out of the way.)

If you're already interested, you can order the book here: http://www.monthlyreview.org/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=MRS&Product_Code=PB1849&Category_Code=ECON
