Ah, yet another mainstream media hysteria about virus-bearing foreigners.
Such progress from the Cold War media hysteria about ideologically
infectious foreigners. Ideology aside, the fact is that the flu normally
kills 250,000 to 500,000 people annually:

Note that 1.27 million people die from road accidents every year. I'm
still waiting for the Anglo-American press to declare war on automobiles
("These bloodthirsty, overpriced people-killers must be stopped!").
