Illinois has had a form of card check for public employees since 2003. Here's an excerpt from U of I Prof. Robert Bruno's recent study of card check & union coercion:
"the most dramatic outcome of the provisions administration is the total absence of any employee or union abuse. In over 1,000 cases there is only one allegation of union coercion or fraud to compel or induce workers to sign authorizations. The ILRB found the complaint to be meritless."
