Two points. First, about 25% of K's sample were or had been prison inmates. Second, it was not a random sample; it was a convenience sample of people who volunteered to disclose personal details about their sex lives and fantasies. No results reported in K's studies should be generalized to a broader population. (That's Sampling 101.)
