Let's leave aside for the moment how the attempted prosecution of a

I meant (but forgot) to post a reply to Carrol suggesting that we consider "imperial justice" as a separate category. It would be difficult to find a better example of this than the Spanish crown's prosecution of a former Chilean head of state. The reverse is rather less likely, I think - or perhaps I should say it would be more likely to result in a retaliatory bombing campaign and/or ground invasion.
