On some "leftward" lists in France, what seems to be the problem with Polansky is not so much that he had had sexual intercourse with a minor, but that he _drugged_ her and _sodomized_ her. It's not like they make it sound like no drugs and no anal penetration would have been OK, but it's pretty close...
