^^^^^^^ CB: James, you are my comrade from way back on the lists, but I can't help but point out the irony, in terms of LBO-list history, that you of all people point to Latour using _global warming_ as a _fact_ to make your argument here. You thereby simultaneusly rebuff Alan's claim that science studies has refuted the notion that there is progress in (your) knowledge , the dialectic of relative and absolute truth and all that (smile).
