I used to play the trombone. It plays notes through a "sliding scale"
as you know. Doesn't that mean that it can  sort of be analog , not
digital ? Like old radio dials, not the new ones. It can play
continuous, not discrete notes. So, it plays all the notes from all
the cultures, everything from every culture , as far as the physics
and culture discussion on these threads ,no ?
