The TV ratings argument is a bit overstated. A top cable news program like
O'Reilly maybe gets 3.3 million viewers while Olbermann gets a bit over 1
million. By comparison, "All In The Family" used to attract over 21 million
households in its heyday. O'Reilly and the like have figured out how to
profit from stirring outrage, but does 3 million TV viewers constitute a
mass movement?
