Maybe I'm stupid, but if there's no public option, it would be best for 
the "reform" to fail, because without a public option, all you have is a 
gigantic subsidy of the insurers and big pharma with no guarantee of 
adequate care. And who wants that?

I just have to agree with Einstein that human stupidity is inifinite. I 
mean, we have all the baby boomers getting to the age where they need 
major medical care and the basic plan is to completely bankrupt them 
(and their families).

That's going to be really good for the economy!!! Boy oh boy!
