Does anyone know how much time Polanski would be facing if tried and convicted? California is the land of zero tolerance, right? I read somewhere that at the original time of his flight he was facing decades in prison. It really sucks that he was never judged and punished for his crime, but I think his spending decades in prison would be an injustice too.
