I think you got Andrew Cockburn confused with his brother Alex. Alex Cockburn is the one who has been a Nation columnist for many years and who has, recently, seen his column cut way back. Andrew tends to write mostly for publications like the NY Review of Books, National Geographic, but is an occasional contributer to his brother’s publication, CounterPunch.
