The subsample of those who have donated or rallied - 4% - is a more accurate glimpse of the corpulent patriots you see in the photos. Unfortunately, the CBS write-up only talks about the subsample's political views, not their demographics. Political views are, as you would expect, even more extreme than the mere supporters.
