Oxford and Islington, the two place where the Independent Working Class Association got support in the local council elections, I think.
The Lib. Dems. candidate in Oxford is probably one of Britain's best MPs, in my opinion, for his stand on migrants' rights, on freedom of scientific research and many other things. If I were in Oxford I would break the habit of a lifetime to vote for him.
But the very thought of a Lib. Dem. success fills me with loathing, not least because the president of my old Student Union, Nick Harvey would get promoted. He launched a terrible terrorism scare against Irish students at Middlesex University, and attacked the Overseas Students Group and the left. He used to be in the International Socialists, someone who knew him at college told me the other day, but I am not sure I believe it. Still, I am glad he has gone bald. http://www.nickharveymp.com/
