had by all." It should never be used except in mocking July 4
celebratons at the American Legion Hall.

Hard Work -- Core slogan of the National Assoication of Manufacturers.
It is measured by yearly income. Only those in top quartile can be
labelled with this empty abstraction.

Self-Improvement: I guess it means abandon all collective action and
join the YMCA.

It's probably been at least 200 years since anyone attempted to examine
the details from which these are abstracted.

SA must have once known what an abstraction was and how they are used
and abused, but he apparently has forgotten.
