^^^^^ CB: I don't know. I think Lenin's faction was in the majority when the names were given. I believe they lost the majority a bit later.

And democratic centralism meant the majority ruled in the Party, and the minority had to adhere to the decision of the majority once a decision was made.

I agree they didn't institute plebiscites of the entire country's population.
