[lbo-talk] Thoughts on the Tea Party

General sociological and political curiosity for one.  I tend to try and
figure out why people get off their asses and do things.  Just because it is
right wing doesn't mean it should be understood. Does it?

Another reason would be to blunt the tendency to just take for granted the
liberal explanation - racist, xenophobic, Republican bank rolled, petty
bourgeois (not that these aren't the cause, but are they the only ones.
And shouldn't hold them up to criticism?)- which IMO leads back to the two
party dead end.
