I agree with most here who see left as anti-capitalist.  The Dem/ Rep
dichotomy, in my view, usually has little to do with left/ right politics
(other than obfuscation and depoliticization of the economy). The confusion
around this in the US is a major barrier to the development of left
forces. The more people that recognize this and the sooner they do, the
better off we will all be.
