Fair enough: it's not the asking of the question per se. it's the years spent compiling evidence to answer these questions from every angle (is it a missile in the pentagon? why didn't they scramble the planes? how exactly did they blow up the towers? Not to mention WHY?); the additional time and energy trying to challenge conventional wisdom on this question; the political capital spent in pursuing this rather inane question; and the somewhat misdirected emphasis on it at all when incompetence on one side and determined anger on the other explains far more than speculations about disappearing people off of planes and a conspiracy to doctor photos etc. can ever do. I'm with Galloway on thinking the entire movement has a tad bit of racism. The fact that Alex Jones can now be seen on the anti-tax patriot front says a lot about it's politics.

As for other questions, I think just about any other questions about current politics and economics (at least for those on--to venture a classification--the left) would be more productive of insight. You may be engaged in them, but that is far from widespread.
