i hate, hate, hate snakes. snakes are one of those creatures that peole, 
like me, often have irrational fear of. i'd carry a gun and shoot 'em if i 
jogged in wooded areas. i'd also carry a gun were i jogging without the 
detail, which he was doing acc. to article. frankly, i smell a story 
designed to get big macho man re-elected.

now that i think of it, had it occurred to me, i would have liked to have 
had a gun to shoot farm dogs when i used to bike in farm country. got bit 
by one of those fuckers. probably a dog like matt's big bad ass dog too! :)
