Colorado is a real hotbed of crackpot politics. The most popular morning radio talk show host, Peter Boyle, has been on a "birther" rampage ever since Obama got elected. He had Glenn Beck on his show and was mightily offended that Beck told him that the "birther" movement was not going to get any more traction. Pretty bad when Beck sounded like the voice of reason.
All of these nut cases become almost apoplectic when they talk about the "Republic of Boulder," that red menace of a city where Ward Churchill plied his heinous trade.
By the way, the bicycle conpiracy guy isn't that old. You have to wonder what he learned in college.
