Since all involved in this debate support Palestinian freedom, there
ought to be some way to moderate clearly personal attacks.

I distinguish personal attacks from ad hominem arguments, and I shall
continue personal attacks on those who use ad hominem arguments (such as
throwing around epithets having no cognitive content except to poison
the wells of discourse -- e.g. those who use the word "Stalinist," which
always poisones discourse and should be shamed out of existence.
