Pretty vague in my mind.

I remember it partly for Anna Magnani... because, whatever I see her in is unforgettable.

The other reason I remember it, is because it is a film about the great courage of those who fought the Nazis. And the movie shows them losing.

But I definitely don't remember it as one of the great Neo-realist films: it pales in comparison to Bicycle Thief, Umberto Di, Bitter Rice, or La Terra Trema.
