There is no need to fact check since nobody bothers anymore and won't listen anyway...
This is a big mistake. The whole point to attacking the economic and political establishment in the US is they are liars. The outrage at wikileaks is an illustration of the power of simple documentation. Half the political establishment wants to lynch Assange. That should be demonstration enough of the power of raw revelation. The answer, smear him with sex charges.
The failure to investigate Wall Street, income inequalities, unemployment, the ridiculous GITMO situation, failing wars, climate change, environmental damage, toxic water supplies are other areas where facts, documentation, and empirical proof play a vital role---making it a duty of the left critique.
Maybe Wojtek hasn't noticed that virtually all the establishment propaganda machine has been in overdrive for a long time to erase the lists of rather simple truths.
If the establishment is winning why are they so hysterical? The truth is they are losing. Congresss and the Obama administration spend all their time putting out fires of some truth or other on almost every news cycle. That's why the US media appears to be hollow nonsense, with a declining readership.
