Carrol, since no one else is taking up your point, and others clearly see
the connection SUSAN MAZUR made in the post CHUCK initiated on Feb 5th AND
since others are responding to my response and follow-ups in a manner which
indicates that they clearly see the connection between the evolution and
climate change topics, this unnecessary slap - which would be unnecessary
even if you were right, since you've already made this point twice - seems
simply designed to put me in my place... what's up with that?
Did I actually do something to piss you off or are you just being pissy? Sometimes it is worth giving people credit for being capable and, perhaps, just perhaps, having seen something you missed or having rather different areas of expertise or primary interests. I know a lot about evolution and its opposition, and even more about climate science and its proponents and opponents, perhaps - even if I had combined topics you have traditionally seen as separate - you could learn something from someone who has had twenty five years of close contact with these things, someone who might see parallels you don't - and who doesn't reify subject headings but prefers to follow the content of the messages.
Are you really implying that you've never been part of morphing an exchange under one heading into one that dealt with more, parallel, things (which is NOT what happened here)? Really?
