Alan Rudy: Very good. MIchigan's annual budget crisis is definitely being "resolved" on the backs of state worker union employees, teachers, students and recipients of public support... cut, cut, cut, bleed, bleed, bleed.

The same thing is happening in New Jersey, especially since the ascension of the truly awful Chris Christie to the Governor's Mansion. And incidentally, from speaking to local tea party activists, it's apparent to me that anti-union sentiment, and anti-teachers union animus in particular, is a major driving force behind their politics. This adds, let's say, a small complication to any effort to make common cause with these folks.
