The Vatican is actually economically rather left-wing, as well as opposed to virtually all wars.
^^^^ CB: Well, perhaps on the "left" side of capitalism, but they don't advocate ending capitalism and instituting socialism and communism. The Vatican was a big time opponent of the Soviet Union, did lots of subversive stuff in Poland. They even picked a Pole for Pope after hundreds of years of only Italians, to help undermine socialism in Poland. As to wars, the Vatican hasn't denounced imperialism and colonialism , has it ?
