So I guess no politician will ever support term limits, huh?
If you make enough noise, some politicians will champion it. And if it makes them popular, more will follow. It's all about the clamor. And simplicity is your whoreson fosterer of clamor.
Also, by and large, the ruling class doesn't man the battlements against changes in procedure. They only spend the big bucks when their particular ox is being gored.
I think the term limit campaign is a good model. I wonder how that was organized. Anybody know? I'd love to read a good article on it.
