Last time I read anything on the subject 60% of Americans had no type of
investments.
IIRC of the 40% who do own investments roughly half of those are less
than $20K.
Only about 25% of the US population has investments in any slightly
meaningful way.
Is the thought of joining the ~70% majority really so terrible?
If ~70% don't have any such investments how can one label it "necessary"
as many are quick to do?
