I know the feeling, but that's giving too much credit to this shambles of a former Empire. Enough of us need to stay and fight the beast from within -- especially at the local and state level. That's where the Left will regenerate itself.

Obama has stayed true to his historical prototype: Gorbachev. Now America's version of the post-Gorbachev meltdown begins in earnest.

We can't blame ourselves for this, or even the deluded liberals who voted for Cluster Bombs We Can Believe In. The national parties are servants of the Enemy and as such not even worth the spittle it would take to spit on them. We have to blame the System: we have to focus on the undead remnants of Empire.

Stop. Think. Write. Live.

And give our young people the best possible education and tools we can give them, because someday, they will change things.
