The conditons under which _any_ kind of socialist movement would become part of the politics of the nation are unpredictable.We do know that they would be radically different from the present, so present conditons and popular knowledge are as irrelvant as knowledge of conditons in Engalnd i 1766.
3. There will be a number of movement organizations and parties -- all with different specific vixions of the future. Pick your own.
4. One possible condition under which socialism would be _really_ on the agenda: The choices had narrowe to two: John Doe's Blue Shirrts or the Anti-Capitalist Party (vague as to whether it was socialist or not. And of course the Blue Shirts would not honor any election results they didn't like.
