Not much different than the indian / cherokee "nation" that currently operates casinos in the U.S.
But then it doesn´t matter what I think. I also think the US uses the Tibet issue to create problems in China, following the logic of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" and to have a stick to wave in their faces in bilateral talks.
Much like they supported Kurds only when it was in the USA´s best interest of the day to weaken and fight Saddam Hussein, but turned a blind eye at the time US envoy to Iraq Donald Rumsfeld was shaking hands...
