1) Someone whose wife's worked for Oracle said they treat employees extremely well in terms of benefits, etc. Not that Ellison wouldn't be a raging psycho to work for.
2) Noted security expert Bruce Schneier once said in his blog that Oracle was born with and gets huge support from the CIA.
