No, it probably won't hold. It appears that everyone from the WH to those who currently exercise the local power of the police are lined up against it. And in addition, more progressive voices seem lined up against the law's potential for racial discrimination.

The law does highlight the fact that the police are presently operating free of 'the law'. That had to play some small part in the considerations of the lawmakers who passed this bill.

I couldn't tell if you were referring to the 'if it holds' or the 'provide an argument' side of the equation with 'don't think it will'?
