When I was a young anarchist growing up on the suburban streets of south Kansas City, my father explained how the stock market worked through an extended analogy involving lemonade stands.

I didn't get it, which explains a lot.

Too bad I didn't invest in Genentech in high school (1983) like I wanted to...
