Don't remember that. I think Eric would explain how the social security program had its origins as a state-run mutual aid program. Obviously, as an anarchist, I'm not much interested in state-run programs as the long term goal, but I guess it is an example of how collective mutual aid works on a large scale. I don't know much about it, just waiting for Laursen's book to find a publisher so I can read it.
