In the beginning of _Capital_, Marx investigates the commodity as the basic unit of wealth in capitalist society.

I've quoted Marx from the _Contribution to the Critique of Political Economy_, from the _Grundrisse_, and from Vols. 1 and 3 of _Capital_. Your response to those quotations is to offer up some weak stuff about how Marx uses the words "simple" and "history" in various contexts. Aside from the fact that such a procedure is a joke, in one case I even noted that "simple" was just Aveling's mistranslation of "überhaupt".
