personal antagonisms. People who hold quite different positions on this
should have no truble in working together in specific struggles or
reaching abstract agreement on many particular empirical issues. It is
at a very high level of abstraction at which general agreement, in the
present, will never be reached. Holding to one 'side' or the other is
NOT grounded either in stupidityor cleverness, virtue or perversity.
