We should have an alternative account before us.

With the stopping of the Falangist attack on Madrid, the Republic had actually won the war. Then they were stranged by France, England, & the U.S. refusing even to _sell_ for cash arms to the Republic, while Germany & Italy continued to send support to Franco.

The Trotskyis History (as in their supine repetition of the mass media on the Panthers) is an ongoind disgrace.
