well, i guess i was thinking that mass political movements refer to 
movements inspired by marxism, not Liberalism. Maybe I am misreading.

In other words, I thought that the post was talking about Liberalism, and 
why it can't inspire people these days, not Marxism.

so I'm a bit confused.
