It is -- i.e., it exists. What does it do to label it helpful or the reverse?
A left that can flourish with lots worse than Zizek & Stalin in in it is a pretty feeble left. The U.S. for decaces has divided the world into "the free world" and the communist world. Hence Hitler, not a communist, belonged to the free world. U.S. aggresdsion proceeded quite nicely even with this apparent burden. Nutty leftists, totalitarian leftists, etc. are part of existence. Live with it.
