because, as we all know, the binary of homo/hetero is timeless. when we were livig in conditions where it was imperative to reproduce for survival of the species, it was important to deride homos because, as we all know, you either fucked the same sex or not, removing all these non-breeders from the pool which woulda been bad for survival.
couldn't have been possible that, back then, people fucked anything that moved, same sex or not! because that wouldn't make sense to our modern binary conception of sexuality!
