All I can say regarding Daniel Pipes's conjecture (that, due to
political correctness run amok, they handed the prize to her despite
that fact that she was clearly not the most qualified; voice over
close-up shot of a white contestant's beautifully manicured hands
crumpling a piece of paper marked "Rejection") is, you all go look at

Especially numbers 11 (hubba hubba) and 12.

And here I thought Daniel Pipes was, like, a dude.  Now I'm not so
sure; what kind of dude would look at this woman and the first thought
that enters his head is political bitterness?  Weird!  Creepy too.
