The US dollar is getting a temporary lift from the crisis, but that's not the same thing as US hegemony, which is gone. And it's not going to be replaced by a Japanese or EU hegemony, either.
I'm watching the footage of the Shanghai 2010 Expo opening ceremony, and you can just feel the multipolarity kicking into gear.
