And that erostion is in part illusory, in so far as the 'advanced' or
'core' capitalist nations no longer 'compete' for hegemony. In fact
Germany, France, UK, China, Japan, Russia have in part 'turned over' to
the U.S. the task of maintaining global order in the capitalist system.
