In color no less! From the 1968 GOP convention. Unlike the pyrotechnics in Chicago, these debates are much harder to find. Buckley still looks pissed off to be anywhere near Vidal, while Gore is having fun. Best line among many, from the second debate. After Buckley drones on about the non-racist character of the GOP, Vidal replies, "I'm sorry, Bill. I wasn't listening."
