Between Deepwater, the debt crisis and general financial melt-down (which can only get worse and worse, especially as the Fed bails Europe out, effectively gaining control of their economy.). Between economic austerity and vast environmental destruction, the US is hurtling toward standards traditionally associated with Third World countries.... And the left is just fine with that.
